What is coaching?
Coaching is a collaborative process between the coach and client. The coach will assist the client to identify the desired outcomes or goals. This usually includes discussions about values, perceived challenges and strengths. Assessments or other metrics may be involved as part of the ‘getting to know you' process. The coaching relationship is designed to further the goals and aspirations of the client.
How does it work?
On the surface it may just look like a weekly chat, either by phone or face to face. But there is a lot more going on. You can expect to be fully listened to and not just the words you use. Thought provoking questions, insights, challenges to your thinking and solid encouragement are all present over time. You bring issues to the conversations, throw ideas around, ask for feedback and another perspective, stretch your thinking and how you act in the world. Strategies and action plans are created together to ensure a good fit for you. One of the most valued aspects is that you don't have to walk your path alone.
What do we talk about?
The content is usually bound by the context. Life coaching takes in any and every part of life. Business coaching naturally focuses around the business world and executive coaching has company parameters. However, business and executive coaching does not exclude what happens in your personal life if that is relevant to what happens at work. You will be given a worksheet to prompt ideas for discussion, feedback on how you have traveled since the last call, challenges that have arisen and, of course, events to celebrate!
What can I expect to gain?
That's hard to say exactly for any individual. However, typically clients lift themselves to higher standards, extend their boundaries of what is possible, gain invaluable insights, change behaviours, and excel on many levels. Coaching as a profession is growing rapidly – especially in the hard nosed corporate area – because it works.
When can I expect results?
Again, this is difficult to quantify precisely. Clients often have instant results depending on what they are seeking and their personal commitment to the process. Some things take time to mature. Generally, I suggest a minimum time frame of 3 months to ensure that progress does have a chance to become tangible.
What's my part as a client?
Clients come to coaching with expectations. Either something is not working as they wish, or they want to expand their thinking, creativity or patterns of behaviour. So it makes sense that clients need to take those action steps that lead to the desired outcomes. Talking is fine but usually not enough by itself. Your responsibility is to do those agreed things discussed with me. Otherwise we have just had a nice chat!
What's your part as coach?

What are your fees?
Personal coaching :
Option 1. 3 month/12 hour package. We talk for an hour every week by phone, so distance is not an issue. Times can be varied according to need and schedules. Minimum time frame is 3 months and there is no maximum.
$1,725 + GST
Option 2. 6 hour package. Flexible times & duration. Call as you need.
$950 + GST
Option 3 . Monthly package . 3 x 45 minutes calls.
$380 + GST.. Suggested minimum time is 3 months
Business coaching:
Option 1. 3 month/12 hour package. Minimum time frame is 3 months and there is no maximum.
$2,760 + GST
Option 2. 6 hour package. Flexible times & duration. Call as you need.
$1,518 + GST
Option 3. Monthly package 3 x 45 minutes calls.
$615 + GST. Suggested minimum time is 3 months. Fees payable on the 1st of the month
Executive coaching .
There are some variables to consider so please contact me personally to discuss your best options.
Special Programs
You can also choose a 'Quick Start' or 'Spring Clean Program' . Both are 4 x 30 minute sessions and are $395 + GST.
The 'Quick Start' can get you off and running on a project, or you can use it as a brief coaching program or as a 'tester' for coaching with me. The 'Spring Clean Program' is designed to clean up loose ends and get more energy back into your life.
Group coaching
This is a very economical way of having access to coaching. Groups sizes range from 6-8 participants. Fees range from $345 per session which is divided amongst the group. Minimum of 12 sessions.
What are the next steps?
If you feel that we could be a good match, look over the packages and decide which suits you best. You are welcome to call me for a collaborative interview to check that we are indeed a good match. Then we can make arrangements for your first call and the frequency of future calls. I will send you some pre-coaching forms to get us going immediately.
How is payment arranged?
The most economical packages are 12 hours over 3 months. These are paid in advance before coaching starts. The monthly packages are payable on or before the 1st of the month. The easiest method is by electronic funds transfer. You may also pay by cheque.
